April Crossley of Homes of Grace with Highland Cow

Thank you Berks Weekly for recognizing the importance of the work that Homes of Grace is doing here in Berks!! Great job to our very own April Crossley

This week’s Community Spotlight shines on April Crossley of Mohnton, co-owner of Homes of Grace, a project aimed at creating affordable, community-focused housing for seniors in Berks County.

Crossley and her business partner are redeveloping a home in Sinking Spring into a co-living space for independent seniors, offering below-market rents while fostering connection and reducing loneliness. With more than two decades of landlord experience, Crossley hopes the effort will eventually grow into a tiny-home community for seniors.

A former teen mother who built a career in healthcare before transitioning into real estate and entrepreneurship, Crossley says her life experiences have shaped her mission to help others and strengthen the community.
